There is plenty of good news at Booth #4604 as Reina Imaging (dba. X-Ray Cassette Repair Co. Inc.) announces final steps toward ISO certification just in time for RSNA 2010. Founded in 1978, Reina Imaging is the largest and most proficient cassette repair organization in North America. And shortly, will be the only ISO 13485 grid encasement manufacturer as well. Reina’s headquarters spans over 25,000 sq. ft. and is located Crystal Lake, northwest of Chicago, Illinois.

Over the past year, Reina’s team completed ISO 13485 certification procedures and last month were recommended for approval with CMDCAS (Canadian) by a registering body. The scope of the registration includes the design, manufacture, and packaging of medical devices including x-ray grid holders and accessories.

“This important certification step affirms what we at Reina Imaging have always believed, that we have a robust, high quality management system. While this system has always served us well domestically, we now stand ready to back up our claims and look forward to serving the global healthcare community,” said Tony Reina, General Manager of Reina Imaging.
